Fill your tummies with flapjacks, hunt for Preston's chocolate eggs and visit with the Easter Bunny and Lion. 7:30am-11:00am Pancake Breakfast, $6 Adults, $3 Children (Lions Hall) 9-11am Easter Egg Hunts by age groups (Baseball Field) Burlingame, 850 Burlingame Avenue. When all the eggs are found, there will be an open plunge for the participants. Parents are invited to observe the egg dive from the bleachers on the pool deck parents accompany their 7 and under children into the pool during the open plunge that follows. As we all know, Easter is this weekend, and that means the annual Easter Egg Hunt. I thought it might be pretty easy to write a list of places in our world, the mid-Peninsula, where you can take your kids to an old fashioned Easter Egg Hunt. Alas, it wasn't quite as easy a task as I thought it would be! But, there are a several of places that will bring a laugh to you, and smiles, or tears to your children (depending on their ages). Better yet, the weather is looking good for the weekend so try one or more of these places . And, if you feel like adventuring further south or north, I have some things listed as far down as Los Altos and north as San Francisco.
